We are seeking a skilled and experienced BI Analyst with expertise in Tableau to join our Pepper Advantage Data and Analytics team. As a BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing and visualizing complex data sets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage Tableau's powerful capabilities to design and develop intuitive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business stakeholders, and data scientists, to understand requirements and deliver impactful data visualizations.
Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize Tableau to analyse large and complex data sets, identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and translate them into visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Dashboard Design and Development: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and requirements. Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly and intuitive Tableau dashboards that present data in a clear and insightful manner.
• Data Modeling and Preparation: Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data availability, accuracy, and quality for reporting purposes. Design and optimize data models to support efficient and scalable Tableau dashboards.
• Data-driven Insights: Analyse business requirements and provide valuable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their goals and translate them into meaningful metrics and KPIs.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, understand data sources, and ensure effective data integration into Tableau. Clearly communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Report Maintenance and Enhancement: Monitor and maintain existing Tableau reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, freshness, and optimal performance. Continuously enhance the reporting capabilities by implementing best practices and exploring new Tableau features and functionalities.
• Data Governance and Security: Adhere to data governance policies and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations. Implement proper access controls and restrictions to safeguard sensitive data.
